Engage Your Students
Take Back Your Time
Create Skilled Readers
Fired up about reading? That’s an understatement.
If your personal library is slowly taking over your home or your Kindle has more wear and tear than your family vehicle, then you, my friend, are an avid reader.
Naturally, nothing makes you happier than seeing your students fall in love with reading, too. The confidence they feel when reading finally clicks for them? Priceless.
But you also know that reading doesn’t come easy to everyone, and not every child is a raving fan.
That’s why you’re so determined to find diverse, engaging resources that not only meet grade-level standards but keep kids excited to tune in.
In a perfect world...
Teaching 4th and 5th-grade reading would be a breeze.
And prep? Just a tiny blip on your calendar.
You’d have ample time during your day for planning and all those long staff meetings would be replaced by three-line emails.
Plus, your district would provide a variety of rigorous and engaging resources. (No more binders of generic worksheets that make you die a little inside!)
Sure, you might still spend time at night researching new teaching methods, but it would be out of enthusiasm – not obligation – because you’d already have your lessons prepped and ready for tomorrow.
*feet up, happy sigh*
But here’s what we both know:
You wouldn’t be here if you had all the tools you needed to serve your students to the best of your ability.
No shame to your district, but the reading resources you’re given are often created with one type of student in mind (the one who isn’t struggling), they don’t usually match your instructional style, and they fall flat in the engagement department.
This often leaves you...
Spending too many hours Googling free (or AI-generated) resources – and still feeling like they aren’t rigorous, relatable, or engaging enough for your students.
Dedicating your mornings, nights, and weekends to the quest – regularly shopping on TPT and creating your own resources because you want to do better for your kids, especially those who are struggling.
Scrolling through social media and getting side-tracked by cute animal videos (it happens!) – while looking for that one elusive tip or tool that could magically change everything for you.
Seeking solace and support in the arms of random Facebook groups, teacher text chains, or secret chocolate stashes in your desk – anything to ease the stress and pressure of the workweek!

TEACH: We love to make your teaching instruction easier! We will regularly be adding to the collection of teaching slides and small group reading lesson plans.
SUPPORT: 4th and 5th graders are still learning to read, and some more than others. To help you support all of your readers, we will regularly be adding resources that are aligned to the science of reading.
Seeking extra support?
Reading isn’t a one-size-fits-all skill, and you’ve likely honed a teaching style that works best for you and your students. But sometimes you just need some extra support along the way.
Here’s how we’ve got your back inside the membership
Teaching Slides
A crowd favorite, these slides will help you teach to the rigor required in 4th and 5th grade, while helping you learn the vocabulary and reading skills yourself. These aren’t your one-size-fits-all teaching slides. Depending on the skill, there are multiple slides to choose from, making it easier to guide your reading instruction and give your students plenty of practice.
Skill Roadmaps
Our members call these “golden” and you’ll quickly see why. Roadmaps break down your major reading skills into manageable teaching objectives and recommend a variety of resources to help you meet each one. Think of it as a friendly point in the right direction!
Themed Video Series
Want to dive deeper into a certain topic, like Word Study or Small-Group Instruction? Grab your headphones and tune into our videos highlighting different teaching practices and strategies – and learn how to implement them with the membership resources provided.
Pacing Guides (And More)
Access a growing collection of other guides and roadmaps to help you approach different reading levels and solve specific reading struggles. These support resources will help develop skilled readers with modalities that actively engage your students.

Hi, there! I’m Jennifer.
Proud mom, educator, and avid reader
From 2009 until the lockdown in 2020, I taught in the classroom. Most of that time was spent teaching 4th and 5th-grade reading, and what I loved most was seeing self-proclaimed non-readers become raving fans. Watching them get excited to talk about stories and have conversations with me and their peers was so rewarding!
I also remember spending hours of my own time each week creating resources, center activities, teaching slides, and assessments (using Word with Google graphics and fonts). I never taught at a district that provided curriculum, so from the beginning, I had to think outside the box and create the necessary resources.
If so, you’ll find the variety you’re looking for inside the All-Access Reading Membership. These resources will help you:
- Meet rigorous grade-level standards
- Support your students where they’re at
- Foster a genuine love of reading
We all know that teaching is no joke. It’s a demanding job! But when you can drastically cut down your prep and planning time, things get so much easier. If you’re ready to simplify your life and bring new energy and enthusiasm to the classroom, I’ll see you inside!

However, one of the main principles of the All-Access Reading Membership is the belief that teaching isn't a one-size-fits-all solution.
Every classroom, every teacher, and every student is unique and requires a customized approach.
Instead of providing rigid scripted lesson plans, the membership provides a diverse collection of resources that you can pick and choose from, tailoring your teaching to your students' specific needs and your teaching style.
It's about giving you the flexibility to adapt to different situations and learners.
That said, the membership is designed to be user-friendly, and there is support to guide you through the process of choosing the most suitable resources for your classroom.
We also have a community of fellow educators who share their experiences and insights, which can help guide your decisions.
Our membership includes a wide variety of activities, centers, and games that are great for collaboration among peers.
Our hands-on resources also allow students to physically work with materials that will help them learn the content that much faster.
An extra layer of engagement is especially helpful with some of the more rigorous reading skills. For example, “main idea” can be tough for students to master at a 5th-grade reading level.
Incorporating sorts or puzzles can boost motivation and engagement.
Long Answer: Resources for teaching writing are NOT included in this membership. There are some text-dependent writing resources included, but resources for teaching your writing units will NOT be included.
What about kids who’ve fallen behind?
Don’t worry; they’re on our radar and we know they’re on your heart, too! It can be tough when you’ve been given a deadline to teach certain skills, regardless of whether or not all of your students are ready to move on. District-required pacing guides don’t always align with your students’ mastery of the material.
That’s why we’ve included both grade-level and below-level resources in the membership.
You’ll have differentiated materials to meet kids where they’re at and help fill the reading gaps with engaging materials. And maybe, just maybe, those kids who once dreaded reading will claim it as their new favorite subject!
Let’s do the “check test”
You’re a heart-centered 4th or 5th-grade teacher who’s passionate about helping your students excel at reading. (You’ll break out the world’s biggest happy dance if they also became lifelong readers!)
You know that this time is CRUCIAL for your struggling readers. Once they move on to middle school, they won’t have the same support systems in place. So, it’s your mission to set them up for success!
Your free time has become “scroll the internet for reading resources” time, and you’ve even started to dream about lesson planning. (Not in a fun, aspirational way – but in a very literal “It’s 2:07 am and I’m thinking about work” way.)
You’d love to have one easy, centralized location for all of your reading resource needs. Preferably with highly differentiated, engaging materials with little-to-no prep required. (Because this whole DIY route just isn’t working for you anymore!)
PSST. ONE LAST, CRAZY QUESTION:
What would you do if easier lesson planning left you with MORE free time?
Breeze through that new release from your favorite author?
Binge that Netflix series your friends keep raving about?
Hang out with more people outside of your classroom or teaching circle (gasp!)
We know … it’s a foreign concept when you’ve been pouring all of your downtime into work! But when you join the All-Access Reading Membership, you’ll quickly see that you can serve your students and safeguard your schedule.
No Googling, endless scrolling, or creating your own resources required!
