Here is the breakdown of my gifts this year:
- Three books from Scholastic Reading Clubs ( I used my points for these.) Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters because they read The Lightning Thief in fourth grade, The Watsons Go to Birmingham, and Escaping the Holocaust (which both tie in to our Social Studies curriculum.)
- Small beach balls that I let them blow up and get signed by their classmates. I bought them here from Amazon.com.
- A pack of gum that I also bought from Amazon. (Click here).
- And a small pack of Takis chips because my kids are crazy about those chips.
I definitely went a little overboard this year, but I had all those Scholastic Reading Book Club points. Plus, I had such a great group this year. I wanted to spoil them a little. 😀
What do you do for student gifts at the end of the year? I am always looking for more ideas!
I have 39 students. I'd love to give them something, but I can't afford much. 🙁

Any way you could add an editable version of your note?
I simply write a personal letter to each of my students. I always include a memory I had which included that student. It is a very personal touch and my students love to hear what I think of them and enjoy reading what I remember
