Do you have district assessments, quarterly assessments, and tons of other mandated assessments so it feels like you are testing instead of teaching? With that in mind, I just finished up a complete collection of QUICK math common core assessments and data tracking checklists. I am so excited about this, because I will have a quick assessment ready to go at a moment’s notice. This will not take up an entire math lesson. Instead these assessments will take up to 20 minutes to give. These are perfect to give you a quick snapshot of how your students are performing so you can get back to instruction.
Each assessment is one page (with the exception of 5.OA.3 which requires a separate page for grids).
I have also included some simple data collection forms to help you keep track of your students’ mastery of the standards.
If you need some quick assessments that won’t take up a lot of your instruction time, check them out here or by clicking on the link below.
And also, I have a fun freebie for you. I love doing fun themed centers in my classroom. This cute center or small group activity requires the students to match the idiom on the red solo cup with the idiom’s meaning on the blue solo cup. Click here or on the image to grab your copy.
Thanks for stopping by!
